Dogs in the Park - Saturday 7th October 2023 at Alf Pearce Reserve, Strathmore
Dogs in the Park is coming to Strathmore, in partnership between Moonee Valley City Council and The Lost Dogs' Home!
Join a FREE group training session with your dog at Alf Pearce Reserve. The interactive one-hour session is run by experienced trainers from The Lost Dogs’ Home, who specialise in dog behaviour. They’ll share lots of information and advice on:
– Understanding your dog’s body language and behaviour
– Positive reinforcement training
– Teaching foundation skills, including recall and walking nicely on lead
– Play and enrichment ideas at home
This is a FREE community event, but bookings are ESSENTIAL. Please select ONE attendee/ticket per dog (not per person). Session sizes are limited to ensure a comfortable training environment.
With several dogs and people expected to attend, please consider if this is the right environment for your dog. If you think it may be too stressful for them, you’re very welcome to attend yourself and leave your dog at home where they feel comfortable.
