OHTA Sydney Organ Weekend 2022
About
OHTA has organised an “in person” event for participants to see, hear and play notable organs by Fincham, Forster & Andrews, Gern, Gray & Davison, Hill, Rendall, Walcker and Walker in Sydney. Participants are also invited to attend the regular organ recital at St Stephen’s Uniting Church, Macquarie Street, Sydney, on Friday 30 September at 1.10pm (a note donation is customary) and the Sydney Organ Competition (an Organ Music Society of Sydney event) on Monday 3 October (for a reduced additional fee payable on the day to the OMSS). A bus will be used for two days only – Saturday 1/10 and Sunday 2/10. No meals or accommodation are included in the registration fee. It is recommended that participants from outside Sydney book their own accommodation in the area around Central Station, where there is a good range of hotels offering competitive online rates. Meal breaks will occur after visits to churches located close to cafes and restaurants. See ohta.org.au for further details. A full itinerary will be issued to registrants closer to the time of the event. Bookings are now open and offer choices from full registration ($120.00, inclusive of the booking fee), through to day bookings with or without bus. Please note that after payment you will be given an electronic ticket alongside your receipt, but it will not be necessary to print out the ticket or bring it with you to the conference.
REFUNDS
A full refund will be offered to anyone withdrawing from the event, provided notice is provided by email (see below) before 30 September.
