ACO Collective combines Australia’s most talented emerging string players with the professional musicians
of the Australian Chamber Orchestra to create a high-energy string orchestra. British violinist Matthew
Truscott (concertmaster Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment) leads ACO
Collective in a thrilling program of dances from across the ages showcasing the vitality and virtuosity of this
incredible ensemble with music from Purcell, Bartok, Stravinsky, Ross Edwards and Holly Harrison. Presented by Musica Viva Armidale and New England Conservatorium of Music.
