A weekend workshop for those, with some writing experience, wishing to give crime stories a go. Guest presenter, Victoria Spicer, will guide you through hands -on writing activities to get you started. August 3 will be conducted in the beautiful new Drysdale Library (Boronggook) and August 4 in the Courthouse Museum, Drysdale, both offering inspirational settings. Participants will be given ample opportunities to write and share thoughts and ideas. While Day One will focus on writing and researching, Day Two will bring the writing together, followed by a lunch (included) and an interview with a local published crime writer.Midwinter Words prides itself on bringing writers together for a weekend of inspiration and with only 30 places available early bookings are encouraged. The event is presented in partnership with Geelong Regional Libraries.
