Dr Kerry Badenhorst, Senior Mental Health Clinician, Clinical Psychologist, Evolve Therapeutic Services speaking on the teenage brain – the neurobiology of adolescent development;
Dr Dominique Moritz, Associate Dean (Learning & Teaching), School of Law and Society, University of the Sunshine Coast regarding research on child protection;
Acting Detective Sergeant Belinda Phillips and Cyanna Johnson from Youth Justice for the Co Responder Team and they will also speak about the QBCAC funding;
Lyndal Harvey, Engagement and Diversion Officer at Queensland Police Service covering what the EDP Team is, the program eligibility, intervention strategies and referral trends;
