Australian Short Story Festival 2024
About
The Australian Short Story Festival, now in its eighth year, celebrates the subtle and exciting art and craft of the short story form. The national festival will be held at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle from 22nd to 24th of November 2024, and will include workshops, panel discussions, author interviews, live music and readings. The weekend wraps up with a fun literary debate, in which teams combine reason and passion with a few civilised insults for good measure! It’s three days of thought-provoking and lively entertainment featuring some of our finest national and international story tellers. Writers include Cate Kennedy, Fiona McFarlane (via zoom), John Kinsella, Catherine McNamara, Carys Davies (via zoom), Adam Thompson, Eugen Bacon, Kathryn Gledhill-Tucker, Kalem Murray, Brooke Dunnell, Gillian O'Shaughnessy, Laura Jean McKay, Susan Midalia, Laurie Steed, Holden Sheppard, Rashida Murphy and more.https://australianshortstoryfestival.com/2024-program/
