About
Bachateros/bachateras come to join this fun Bachata social dancing competition in celebrating Dominican Independence Day. This is different from Jack and Jill competition. You will be dancing with your chosen dance partner. Competitors registering their spots online.
2. There will be two rounds of dancing.
3. Each round, a song is selected from the above list and will be played for one couple at a time to dance for about 90 seconds.
4. The same selected song with the same section will be played for all the competitors in the same round.
5. Judging on connection, musicality, technique, timing, and the Sabor (3 big Fs. Flow, Fun, Feeling).
6. Judging panel consists of very experience Bachata dancers/instructors from Dominican Republic, as well as from Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
