Have your say about tourism in Clare Valley!The South Australian Tourism Commission in partnership with RDA Yorke and Mid North (as the Regional Tourism Organisation for the Clare Valley) are developing a Destination Management Plan (DMP) for our region, which will align with the refreshed South Australian Visitor Economy Sector Plan 2030, which is due to be released in March 2025.
The DMP will guide tourism activities in the region, ensuring that time and resources are focused. The DMP can also be used as an advocacy tool to secure investment in the priorities for the region. During the workshops the aspirations for tourism in the Clare Valley community will be explored - where and how tourism can help create a positive impact on the local people, economy and environment - and brainstorm opportunities where tourism can support these goals.
No prior reading or specific knowledge is required to attend these sessions, with all perspectives and ideas welcome.
