Kava Circle Gathering
About
This intimate Kava Circle, guided by kavatender Isaac Nasedra, welcomes up to 50 participants into a shared space for reflection, connection, and cultural exchange. Designed to feel both grounded and accessible, the gathering invites community members, artists, cultural practitioners, and the wider public to engage in the practice of kava within a respectful and inclusive environment.
Participants can expect a seated, facilitated circle where kava is prepared and served, alongside gentle guidance on its cultural significance and protocols. Grounded in Pasifika traditions, the experience encourages open conversation, storytelling, and collective reflection in response to the themes of the High Tides exhibition.
Whether familiar with kava or experiencing it for the first time, all are welcome to enter the circle with openness, care, and respect.
