About
Wilde and Will is a two part program in which a group of versatile actors perform scenes from two significant and entertaining plays from the works of two most famous writers Oscar Fingal O’Fflahertie Wills Wilde ( 1854 -1900) and William Shakespeare (1564 -1616). The plays illustrate issues still current in our 21st century - that of the status of women and the gender issue.Beautifully costumed and presented in the well loved historic Ceres Hall (circa 1862) the evening also is embellished with beautiful classic English and Irish songs.
