The Mens Talk International Men’s Day Breakfast is a powerful celebration bringing together people from across Western Australia to recognise the positive contribution men make to families, workplaces and communities.
This special event provides an opportunity for community leaders, businesses, sporting organisations, service providers and individuals to connect, share stories and strengthen their commitment to improving the lives of men and boys. Through inspiring speakers, meaningful conversations and genuine community connection, the breakfast highlights positive male role models while encouraging men to prioritise their mental health and wellbeing.
International Men’s Day is also an important time to acknowledge the challenges many men face, including social isolation, relationship breakdown, workplace pressures, poor mental health and suicide. By bringing these issues into the open, we can challenge stigma, encourage earlier help-seeking and remind every man that support is available and that no one should face life’s difficulties alone.
By coming together, the WA community can help create a future where men feel valued, connected and empowered to live healthier, happier and more purposeful lives.
