About

For its second concert of 2015, Sydney Antiphony presents works by composers spanning 500 years, all exploring the inescapable human truth: the transience of our existence. At its heart, the concert features John Sheppard's epic masterwork, Media Vita. Alongside it are works by William Byrd, Australian composer Brooke Shelley and two Australian premieres: Michael Finnissy's Seven Sacred Motets and Sir James Macmillan's Invocation.
