Comedy House Au presents a night of comedy, bringing you Richard Stubbs LIVE in Altona, on 22 January at 8pm.
For almost 40 years Richard Stubbs has been successful in that most difficult of fields – Stand-Up Comedy. Richard has performed in every comedy room imaginable including those in Montreal, Los Angeles, London, New York and throughout Australia. Over the years he has completed sell-out seasons at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
His ability to hold an audience enthralled with his laugh packed stories earned him his outstanding reputation.
In addition to stand up, Richard has an amazing radio career starting in 1984 on 3XY. He became a household name after nine years on Triple M, his morning and breakfast shows dominating the ratings.

Comedy House Au a night of comedy, bringing you Bob Franklin in Altona, Wed 5 Feb at 8pm.
Bob Franklin, London-born, Welsh raised, comedian who's lived in Australia since 1989.
On Australian TV, Franklin was both writer & performer on Jimeoin (1994–95), Shaun Micallef's World Around Him (1996), Small Tales & True (1998), Eric (1997), The Mick Molloy Show (1999) & Introducing Gary Petty (2000), in which he played the title role & received an Australian Writers' Guild award nomination. Franklin has also acted in many Australian TV dramas. From 2016 to 2021, Franklin had a recurring role as Brendan O'Grady in the Jack Irish films & TV series & made several appearances on Thank God You're Here & was in the sitcoms The Librarians, & Stupid Stupid Man.

Comedy House Au presents a night of comedy, bringing you Mike Goldstein Werribee, 11 Feb at 8pm.
American born, Mike Goldstein isn’t in Kansas anymore. The part Christian, part Jewish, dash of Sri Lankan (Yep, you read right), has been doing stand-up comedy for the past decade.
Mike is a regular panellist on 9 Network’s comedy series The Hundred with Andy Lee, which receives great ratings & reviews. Mike's also the host of one of Australia’s most successful comedy podcasts, The Phone Hacks. He's other TV credits include ABC’s Tonightly with Tom Ballard, 9 Network’s The Pulse, Network Ten’s Hughesy We Have A Problem & Celebrity Letters & Numbers on SBS & a regular guest on Triple J radio. As a comedian, Mike's toured Australia & abroad. He's opened for comedy legends Doug Stanhope, Tommy Tiernan & Jim Jefferies.

Tom Ballard is an award-winning stand up comedian/actor/writer/broadcaster. He’s one of Australia’s hottest comic talents, he’s performed & won acclaim around the world.
Tom hosted 'Reality Check' his own ABC TV panel show. He’s guest hosted the ABC discussion show 'Q&A', interviewed all sorts of political figures on his popular podcast 'Like I’m A Six-Year-Old', featured on the series 'First Contact' & hosted his own satirical late night show on ABC Comedy 'Tonightly with Tom Ballard'.
Tom's been invited to perform at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival and had sold-out seasons at the famous Soho Theatre.

He's most well-known for being the guest with the most appearances on ABC TV’s Spicks & Specks. Dave also stars in Kitty Flanagan’s ABC sitcom Fisk. Dave is also a skilled radio broadcaster & was part of the top-rating Hughesy, Kate & Dave breakfast show on Nova100, & a regular fill-in host/guest on Chrissie, Sam & Browny, on Nova100. Nazeem Hussain has fast become one of the biggest stars of Australian comedy, & loved television & radio personality. He's Netflix special Nazeem Hussain: Public Frenemy, filmed in Montreal at the Just For Laughs Festival, started streaming globally in 2019. Nazeem’s prime time TV comedy series ‘Orange Is The New Brown’ aired on Channel 7. He became a household name when he reached the Grand Final of Channel 10’s ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!’. Nazeem is perhaps best known as the creator & star of his TV show, ‘Legally Brown’. He made his American TV debut as an official correspondent for both seasons of the hit Netflix series ‘Bill Nye Saves the World’.

Lizzy Hoo is a writer, designer, actor & stand-up comedian, who has rapidly become one of Australia’s most exciting new voices. She recently released her first special on Prime Video Hoo Cares!?
Lizzy started doing stand-up in 2017. She quickly found herself an NSW State Finalist in the national RAW Comedy competition. Lizzy performed at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival at the Sydney Opera House, with her spot broadcast on Network Ten & Foxtel’s Comedy Channel. In 2021 to 2023 she performed at the Oxfam Gala and to sold out audiences at both the Melb + Syd Comedy Festivals. Comedy House Au presents a night of comedy, featuring Troy Kinne live in Altona, with special guest comedians Joe White, James Liotta and Ashley Fils-Aime.
In the early days of Troy Kinne's stand-up comedy career, he won almost every new comic competition in the country. The Comic’s Lounge ‘You Gotta be Joking’ competition saw him receive the prize of a trip to New York to attend the American Institute of Comedy. He went on to perform at several well-known clubs in the U.S. including Caroline’s on Broadway, Stand Up New York, Gotham Comedy club, the Laugh Factory, The Hollywood Comedy Store and The Comedy Cellar. However Troy is mostly known for his own Sketch Comedy TV shows - KINNE (7 Mate) and KINNE TONIGHT (CH10).

*IMPORTANT UPDATE: Comedy House Au was due to presents LEHMO as our feature comedian live in Altona - UPDATE show is going ahead with George Zacharopoulos.
We’ve been advised that Lehmo has been asked to step in and host The Front Bar on Channel 7. Mick Molloy is sick and so Lehmo had to accept the offer and we’re very happy for Lehmo cause this is a great opportunity. Lehmo send’s his deepest apologies to the audience and venue.
Thankfully the Melbourne International Comedy Festival is in town and we have managed to nab Greek/British comedian of the year winner and renowned international act George Zacharopoulos. This absolutely hilarious comedian who’s here strictly for comedy festival.

The son of Aussie icons Maurie Fields and Val Jellay, Marty was introduced to the entertainment industry at an early age. Originally an actor and musician, he graduated from the esteemed Melba Conservatorium then began his standup comedy career in 1983.
