NewLife Wreath Making Afternoon

Join us for an afternoon of wreath making, good food, Christmas music, and mingling with other women.
We've got two prices this time around.
a) If you've done wreath making before and can bring your bare wreath back the price swill be $25 for afternoon tea and flowers.
b) If you're brand new then it'll be $35 which will include the wreath, flowers, and food.

Men's BBQ Spit Night November 9th

Our next Men's event will be a BBQ spit evening at Neil's place on Saturday 9th November from 4-9pm. Cost is $10 for the dinner which will include all meat and trimmings, BYO drinks and other nibbles. We will be doing a couple of Q&A testimonies on the night as we look to build up our brotherhood here at Newlife, along with a few games and plenty of time to get to know one another better. This is also a great night to invite any non-Christian friends who could benefit from getting to know a band of brothers.

Hey team,
This term we thought we'd try something a little different food wise prior to the Prayer and Praise part of the evening. For those who are looking to grab a bite to eat we're proposing a BBQ where you can grab a snag on a bit of bread and some salad to enjoy.
Prices will be $2 a sausage and they will be sold for $4 on the night! This reflects the helpfulness of signing up in advance so please grab as many 'tickets' as you think reflect what you'll eat.
We'll look forward to eating from 6pm up at the church with the formal time in the auditorium starting at 6:30pm and going through to 8pm.

"God's design for marriage = a sinner with a sinner, living in a fallen world, but with a God who is faithful, powerful, and willing!" - Paul Tripp
Paul Tripp is a pastor, author, and husband, who has wonderfully practical and Biblical advice that will shape and improve our marriages, educate us in how to love better, and prepare those who want to be better husbands and wives.
Our plan is to host four sessions of Tripp's teaching on the afternoon of Saturday August 17th. We'll do two sessions from 4pm - 6pm have a break for dinner where participants are encouraged to go out and eat in Oran Park, and then come back for the last two sessions at 7:30pm. There's plenty of flexibility to come in the afternoon, the evening, or for all four.

On Sunday June 30th you're invited to stay a little longer as we consider the next steps for NewLife. After our regular service we're planning to do three things:
1) Present the Big picture of growth in our immediate vicinity
There's so much happening that we'd like you to hear - especially as we consider the new areas about to open up just to the North of us.
2) Take a Bus tour to check it out first hand
It's one thing to hear it and quite another to see it. We're borrowing buses so that we can take you on a short tour to see it all and really appreciate the scope of what's coming next.
3) Enjoy a BBQ lunch as we consider the implications for NewLife
We'll head back to NewLife to enjoy a BBQ lunch that we'll provide and consider what impact all that we've seen and heard will have on how we do church as we look ahead and invite you to work out how we can get the ball rolling.

Join us for a great night of trivia and delicious food as we raise funds for Crystal, Callum, and Aaron to go to Fiji for their Year 13 mission trip.
The night will be held at Oran Park Anglican College's hall and is open to kids and adults. We'll start with family fun from 5pm with Trivia starting at 6:30pm.
Your ticket includes; dinner & dessert. We'd love you to bring your own snacks to share on your table.

NewLife Passover Feast

The plan is to get together as a church family on the night called Maundy Thursday for a dinner which will remind us of the history of the Passover as we enjoy a lamb feast. We'll gather at church and when dinner is done everyone will be invited to join in our Maundy Thursday service which will begin at 7pm.
It'll be a great meal and should be a very memorable night. It will also set us up well for enjoy the Lord's Supper together in the service at church.

Join us for an amazing night of music and dancing suitable for all ages under the energetic hand of a live band and caller.
Sounds good but.. Here's some things that shouldn't stop you coming;
No 'partner' to dance with - don't worry most dances are done together and partners swap as part of the dances!
We've got kids - don't worry they'll have a brilliant time too - dancing as part of the big group.
Don't know how to dance - don't worry the band's caller will instruct us all!
Worried that it might be weird - don't worry it will be a laugh out loud blast!
So don't worry if you've never done a Bush Dance before it's designed to be energetic crazy fun for all ages.
Light dinner will be served but feel free to bring along some snacks and drinks for your table.

Megan's Trivia & Dessert Fundraiser

Join us as we gather support and help Megan prepare for her year 13 mission trip to Fiji.
We're holding an awesome Trivia & Dessert Fundraiser at the church on Saturday 29th of April from 6pm. It's for people of all ages and tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids.
What to bring? Grab a friend or family member - the bigger the better! Bring some money or your tap and go so that we can help Megan. We'll provide cakes and dessert and if you'd like more snacks - please grab a bunch and bring them along for your table.
Megan also requests you bring some coins for the coin toss prize. - the coins will be collected as part of donation! (Big jar of lollies and chocolate, people stand from a certain line and closest coin wins.)

Homemade Christmas- Gifts that keep giving

Ladies we are making four gifts that are Eco-friendly with items you would usually find at home. They can be gifts to give or gifts to keep! Made on the night will be Beeswax Lunch Wraps, Lip Balm, Body Scrub and Chai Tea. It is a child free event for women to allow all of our guests an opportunity to hear our speaker on the night and also includes a light supper.

My friend Liam raises sheep on his property (among many other animals). He's a handy bloke and along the way he's learnt how to take his own lamb and turn it into chops. I've invited him to come and show us how he does it, get you to have a go yourselves and put the results on the BBQ. Along the way Liam will be sharing the story of his journey to faith. It promises to be a fun night, with good food and a clear message. Grab a ticket, grab a mate, and get along.

Our sisters in Christ, come and join us for a Women's day retreat to be 'refreshed'
When: It's on Saturday 2nd March, from 9-4pm.
What: We'll have some talks to listen to, time to reflect and time with others in a beautiful retreat setting away from the busy lives we all lead. To have More Space, Go Deeper with Jesus and Deeper with others.
How much: $48 which includes lunch and snacks.

Join us for fabulous annual Gingerbread House night at NewLife Anglican Church.
When: It's on Saturday 1st December, from 6:30-8:30pm.
What: Join us for a great night of creating delicious Gingerbread Houses together while listening to our Guest Speaker.
How much: $20 which includes gingerbread kit, icing, board, cellophane and some lollies. Supper will be provided. Please feel free to bring extra lollies if you are looking to decorate in a particular theme.
