Build on the Basics (Φιγούρες) @ The Kos Club
About
This workshop is proudly brought to you by The Kos Club of Victoria.It will be conducted by Mr Andreas Papadopoulos from Dora Stratou Dance Theatre in Athens, Greece.
This class is for dancers who already know the basic steps of the dances and will work on building and incorporating additional movements (φιγούρες) into each dance e.g. turns and kicks.
The dances to be covered include: Gaida, Pousnitsa, Mantilatos, Sigathistos & Tsamikos. He will also cover dances from Eprirus and some Islands.
This session will run for approximately 2.5 hours. Snack food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.
