Gatekeeper

At TryBooking we offer you two versions of the Gatekeeper software free of charge for your event:

Gatekeeper Lite

Gatekeeper Lite is a very simple application to install and can be setup in under 2 minutes. Gatekeeper Lite is designed for events where you only have one entry and scanning point and is ideal for event under 1000 people.

Gatekeeper Network

Gatekeeper Network is a asp.net application that is designed to run on a local server at your venue (Internet connection is optional). Once setup any laptop on the same network can act as a scanning point. The scanning point (laptop) only need a web browser and a USB hand-held scanner to operate.

In order to use this version of Gatekeeper you must have an IT person that can setup IIS with .NET 2.0 or greater. The main advantage of this Gatekeeper version is its ability to validate tickets across multiple scanning/entry points.

Please note!

Hand this document below to the staff manning the entry point. If your staff are not trained correctly in crowd management, experience has shown that even with a small number of patrons your entry points will become clogged. The difference between smooth entry and a backlog is just a few procedural steps.

If you need to validate tickets on entry and do not have your own Laptop computer or barcode reader, you can hire them from us.
