The Cecilian Singers - Classics for Christmas
About
Our second concert for 2024, Classics for Christmas, features a duality of repertoire: “classics”, like Ave Verum Corpus, by Elgar and by Mozart, and the Liebeslieder Waltzes by Brahms; mixed with some Christmas pieces, including Winter from Folk Songs of the Four Seasons by Vaughan Williams, and Rutter’s Candlelight Carol.We will be joined by pianist Sarah Kang, year 13 St Andrew’s College student Sea-am Thompson on piano and organ, and cellist Janet Robinson. Sea-am will also be performing some solo organ pieces from his recent LTCL recital.
The concert will be held at All Souls Anglican Church, starting at 3pm.
