30 years ago, in 1995, Bolton School took over the lease of Patterdale Hall, as a permanent residential base for Outdoor Learning. 20 years later, in 2014, Bolton School purchased Patterdale Hall from NTYMCA and began its refurbishment.

Join us to celebrate our 30th Anniversary where guests are invited to attend the official opening of the challenge wall and archery area, you can enjoy tours of the facilities, take part in drop-in activity sessions including a scavenger hunt, orienteering and archery and finish the day enjoying complimentary tea and cake whilst celebrating the winners of the Charity Duck Race!

Bring your own picnic and enjoy the beautiful grounds of Patterdale Hall. This event is free to attend and free Parking is available.

Sponsor a duck in our charity duck race raising money for Friends of Patterdale Hall and Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team. Buy your ducks here with prizes for the first 10 ducks!
