This summer Hanford School will be participating in St Margaret's Hospice Care's Glorious Gardens 2025 Campaign, which aims to showcase the beauty and diversity of Somerset's gardens while raising vital funds to support the compassionate care and services the hospice provides.Hanford’s 45 acres of grounds comprising orchards, fields, walled kitchen garden and stables provides many opportunities for sustainability. Wildflowers grow along borders of paths and in the walled garden to support pollinators and provide habitats for wildlife. The Grounds Team cultivate plants from their own seeds and propagate from cuttings. The variety of plants improves biodiversity in the grounds and garden, and girls are encouraged to learn valuable gardening and horticulture skills.
Booking in advance is advised and refreshments will be available to purchase. All ticket income will be given to the Hospice.
