Paul Higgs and the Chris Ingham Trio
Celebrate the centenary of Miles Davis, widely regarded as one of the most influential jazz trumpeters of all time, in an exuberant tribute spanning his remarkable career from the mid-1940s to the early 1990s. Paul Higgs joins the Chris Ingham Trio to trace Davis’s trailblazing journey through bebop, cool jazz, hard bop, modal jazz, jazz funk and fusion. Expect a vibrant mix of iconic favourites and lesser-known gems from each era, brought to life with panache, style and swing. Guest singers from RHS’s own “Rat Pack” add extra sparkle to an evening of first-class entertainment.
The bar will be open from 6.30pm and again during the interval.
