The launch of the River Wye Charter marks a landmark moment for the future of our river and for the growing Rights of Nature movement across the UK so it is with pleasure we invite our community, river guardians and local organisations to share their own pledges and share moments of hope at the idyllic setting of Redbrook Millennium Green overlooked by the iconic Pennallt/Redbrook Viaduct which reminds us of the industrial heritage of this area, a bridge between two countries, one river which knows no borders at a moment where we can share hope for the future.
You are cordially invited by Newland Parish Council and Redbrook Together Charities to attend and participate in this grassroots Charter Signing Event and celebrate the Wye through conversations on music and song throughout the afternoon and evening of 11th July 2026
Refreshments available from 2pm in the Riverside Bar
Bring a picnic, parasol and sun cream
Please come prepared for the warm weather.
Hotdogs available between 4.30 and 6.30 pm
Redbrook Village Stores is open for ice-creams and picnic snacks
The Bell Inn and the Boat Inn are close by for pre-and post ceremony meals.
