This summer Sherborne Boys School will be participating in St Margaret's Hospice Care's Glorious Gardens 2025 Campaign, which aims to showcase the beauty and diversity of Somerset's gardens while raising vital funds to support the compassionate care and services the hospice provides.The School Courts feature several different gardens, all of which boast unique views of Sherborne Abbey, manicured lawns and herbaceous boarders which are maintained by the School’s attentive Gardening Team. Against the stunning backdrop of the Abbey, the Beckett Lawns feature a bronze bust of Alan Turing that was unveiled in 2021, to honour one of the School’s most famous former pupils. The Fifth Form Garden is tucked away in a discreet corner of the Courts, offering a tranquil space with manicured lawns bordered by lavender and butterfly-friendly wildflower plants and shrubs.
Booking in advance is advised and refreshments will be available to purchase. All ticket income will be given to the Hospice.
