The Wilding Stories - Listening Lounge

About
We are all daughters. Drawn from collective threads of local women's story and woven through the lens of magic realism, The Wilding Stories allows space for women to listen and reflect on being women, together. And behind the tale of witches and weeds and brewing discontent, lies a powerful metaphor from Mother Earth.Guided by Wilding writer and facilitator, Margot Edwards, hear powerful recorded audio versions of a tale told three ways. First a simple folktale read by Fiona Press, next as campfire yarn told by Noongar elder Lynette Narkle & actor Melodie Reynolds, and finally a powerful lyric poem rapt in haunting ballad performed by poet Sari Bennett & singer-songwriters Daniella 'Mama KIn' Caruana, Tilly Kelleher and Bec Schofield.
An adult event, welcoming people identifying as women or women's friends. Join us upstairs in the perfect space of the Witch and the Windmill, for a deep listening experience, followed by collective conversation.
Herbal teas available on the night.
