About

Originally constructed as a croquet lawn under Sir Ronald Cross in 1955, it was converted to a bowling green during Sir Charles Gairdner’s term in 1965.

Today the green is maintained by a professional greenkeeper and can be hired out for recreational croquet and bowls during daylight savings months.

Bookings are available most weekends between 5 October 2024 and 30 March 2025. 1 1/2 hour timeslots are available at 10am and 2 pm. Court hire per timeslot is $100 for up to 20 people. Additional equipment can be hired for $10.
