Seed Saving Workshop

Learn basic techniques for collecting, cleaning, drying and storing seed. From vegetable seeds to natives to general garden plants, seed saving can be fun, a cheap way to grow plants and is essential for the survival of heritage varieties of vegetables.
The workshop will introduce beginners to the fascinating and rewarding world of seed saving. Good success with seed starts at the very beginning - choosing the right plants for seed collection, harvesting at the right time, storing successfully and providing any treatment needed to ensure good germination.
