Night Life Studio Workshops - Kiss & Makeup

With the Crash of 29 dividing rich and poor more than ever and with war looming, the 30’s brought with them some dark days ahead… This called for some clever escapism from the doom and gloom. Hollywood sprang into action churning out some of the most famous screen goddesses in history. Women flocked to the cinema then the makeup counter especially after the release of the first technicolour movie: "Gone with the Wind" in which Max Factor showcased his pancake makeup. Let Miss Chrissy from The Lindy Charm School for Girls take you on a journey with changing colours and applications of the 1930’s face.

Note: Please bring a stand up mirror and your make up from home.
