Thomas Rann, founding cellist of the Sydney-based Australia Piano Quartet, joins Canberra pianist Edward Neeman in a program celebrating the life of 19th-century cello virtuoso Count Matvei Wielhorski. The program features the Cello Sonata No. 2 in D major by Felix Mendelssohn as well as works by Karl Davydov, Hector Berlioz, and Henri Vieuxtemps. Bookings essential.
