“Wednesday Lunchtime Concerts” 4 November 12.40pm. “Exile – Chopin in Paris” pianist Mark Jurkiewicz in another of his exciting performances of the music of Chopin. The program features the Four Mazurkas Op. 24, Ballade No. 1 in G minor Op. 23, Barcarolle in F sharp Op. 60 and the Grande Valse in A flat Major, Op. 42. Although Chopin wrote these compositions after he had left Poland permanently to reside in Paris, his Polish spirit was never diminished. Entry $10
