The classic fairy tales of Hansel and Gretel, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty are brought to life through the music of Humperdinck, Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky.
We hear the beautiful ’Evening Prayer’ from Hansel and Gretel, the mad caricature waltz from Cinderella and the wonderful celebrations of the wedding of Prince Desire and Aurora.
A beautiful beginning to launch the ACT Youth Orchestra and their exciting collaboration with Dance Development Centre Canberra. An event not to be missed!
