The young Australian-born cellist Sam Lucas has distinguished himself internationally as an outstanding and talented cellist since moving to Europe in 2017. From his base in Dusseldorf he continues studies and has begun to establish himself as a chamber and concert musician, equally at home with concerto repertory as well as the great works for smaller ensembles.
He is joined by Tempo favourite Berta Brozgul at the piano. Born in South Africa into a musical family, Berta moved to Australia at the age of 12. She has established herself as a versatile and exciting performer, as soloist, chamber musician and accompanist.
