This classic comedy from Australia’s leading playwright, David Williamson, takes a satirical look at postmodern literary theory and asks us to question whether there really are basic truths of human nature.
Angela, a 19- year-old university student, has always believed that William Shakespeare’s works contain the most profound understanding of the human condition. But when she has her worldview expanded by her literature professor Grant Swain, she confronts her family members with her new-found understanding of their lives and finds the reality a little more complex than she thought
