About
Local artist and maker, Barbara Combe ( winner of the 2022 Robertson Potato Festival Art Prize) will share her techniques for creating paper collage artworks.Using recycled materials, this hands-on workshop will give you the opportunity to start working on your artwork to take home or enter into the Robertson Art Prize.
BYO magazines and creative ideas with all other materials to be supplied.
Afternoon tea will be provided.
ABOUT BARBARA
"I have a background in the arts, having been a costume maker for theatre, opera and film. I've always loved
Mostly I use discarded magazines to create my collages & whenever possible I love putting them into interesting vintage frames. Recycling and reducing landfill is very important to me.
A collage can take me days to create. It's a painstaking process at times, but I find it very enjoyable and great as an exercise in mindfulness ."
