Sally will take you through how to understand timing, time signatures and different rhythms.At the end of this workshop, you will understand how to read timing in music scores. You do not need to understand how to read music, but in order to successfully read tablature, you need to understand the timing of the notes.
The timing patterns will take you from easy through to intermediate level.
Several tunes that incorporate the timing patterns will be played throughout the hour to consolidate your learning.
One day before the workshop, you will be sent a downloadable PDF sheet of different timing patterns that you can clap out, as well as some tune sheets.
You will also be sent a Zoom link.
