The Brisbane Monteverdi Ensemble presents an collection of rare, exquisite pieces from across Renaissance Europe, written by composers on the social and religious margins.Music from the social, religious, and geographical fringes of Renaissance Europe. This program features pieces by composers marginalized by gender, sexuality, religion or race, bringing together a diverse array of musical styles and showcasing the variety of musical expression in the Renaissance world.
