Registration for RICON23 Emergency Food Packing Event

Going to RICON ?  Register now for the  FORaMEAL Emergency Food Packing Event  in the House of Friendship at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Please notes, only people who have registered for RICON23 can register for the FORaMEAL packing event as it is an event which is part of the RICON23 program.

Our FORaMEAL project run by the Rotary Club of Canterbury has distributed 700,000 free meals to people in disastrous circumstances.  Your support and efforts can help to continue to give hope and save lives in disaster areas. There is no cost to register as a volunteer for the packing event.

We aim to pack more than 100,000 meals during RICON23, so please come and spend an hour or two to help.  Find us in the House of Friendship and pre-booking will really assist us plan the day and maximise your contribution. 

There are a number of timeslots available to be part of the  packing event. Please if you are able register for more than one packing  timeslot.

We would also appreciate if you would consider participating as a supervisor. If you are willing to be a supervisor, you will need to attend a short training session prior to RICON23.

To register for the supervisor role, please click on the 'Book Now' icon in the top right hand corner of this page to register. Then click on the date(s)  that you can be a supervisor and also click on the training venue which you are able to attend.

The supervisor training is available at either of the following venues:

Donations in Kind , Shed 39, 400 Sommerville Road West Footscray on Thursday 11 May. The session will commence at 5.50 pm for a welcome and pizza and the training will be from 6.30 until 8 

Canterbury Centre, 2 Rochester Road Canterbury on Thursday 18 May. The session will commence at 5.30 pm for a welcome and pizza and the training will commence at 6.30 until 8

Donation

If you wish, you may make a donation to assist with the operation of the FORaMEAL project. Donations can be made as part of your registration by clicking on the 'Book Now' icon in the top right hand corner of this page or  if you are unable to participate in the packing event but wish to make a donation, please also click on the 'Book Now' icon in the top right hand corner of this page and then one of the donation options.

We will contact everyone who registers for the event to provide further details as we get closer to the commencement of RICON23.
