TRAINED TO SEE
Three trailblazers enter an uncharted territory for women, fitted in combat boots as they stand in the annals of world history.
A hauntingly beautiful, archive-driven tribute to three legendary American women journalists - Martha Gellhorn, Lee Miller, and Margaret Bourke-White. 80 years ago, they shaped the burgeoning genre of photojournalism with a personal, empathetic perspective, making their way down the front lines to do so.
During the Second World War, women worked as official war correspondents for the first time. Through the eyes and thoughts of Gellhorn, Miller, and Bourke-White, we experience the horrors of war.
