This artist panel will launch the new City Stories exhibition as part of Melbourne Design Week 2023. Bringing together featured artists and creatives, they will discuss their works and how city sensing technology can be used to create new possibilities for art, design and community advocacy.This panel will be of interest to designers, creatives and community advocates, or anyone interested in the intersection of city sensing and design. Artists Caitlyn O'Brien, Moonis Ahmad, Sami Jenkins and Benjamin Thomson will feature on this panel whose work is part of the City Stories exhibition alongside work also by Tommi Parish, Emma Ismawi and Xen Nhà.
City Stories is a multi-media exhibition of works by local creatives that brings to life and shares stories of the collective impact of the City of Melbourne’s city-wide sensor technology and the data it collects.
Refreshments and nibblies will be provided. No Vacancy Gallery is wheelchair accessible.
