The Height of Steam: A Journey to the Golden Thirties
About
All Aboard! Wollondilly Shire Council's Mayor Matt Gould invites you to grab your family, friends or work colleagues and journey back to the 1930's for the Mayor's Charity Night, celebrating the nostalgia and glamour of the golden era of steam travel and locomotives. Supporting the Camden Wollondilly Domestic Violence Committee, the evening will raise funds for an important and worthy cause.
The Camden Wollondilly Domestic Violence Committee plays an integral role in prevention work and in improving service delivery to women and children experiencing domestic violence in the Camden and Wollondilly local government areas. Local Domestic Violence Committees are a program of the NSW Strategy to Reduce Violence Against Women. The Strategy seeks to reduce violence against women through the promotion of partnerships between government agencies, non-government agencies and women’s groups/services to address and respond to issues of violence against women, and the inclusion of a prevention focus in the practice and culture of all agencies and individuals.
