Playing with Haiku
Playback theatre involves improvising people's real life experiences.
Listen to a story
With open heart we play it back
Creating magic
Distilling the essence, or heart of a story, is a key listening skill in much of our work in community and in Playback Theatre. In this workshop Franki and Jen gently invite you to share stories and develop your ability to play and enact stories using a Playback form loosely based on Haiku poetry. If you want to respectfully play with stories and create short, interactive narrative pieces you'll love this workshop. You don't need to be an actor or Playback practitioner. All you need is a desire to listen, move, improvise, create and play with a respectful group of open hearted people.
Jen and Franki have forty five combined years experience in Playback and community theatre, group and story facilitation.
