World renowned soprano Mirusia will bring her superb operatic voice to a special one-off performance at Baldy Top Lookout on Saturday August 26th, 2023. Baldy Top Lookout will provide a natural Amphitheatre backdrop as Mirusia performs her top-selling ARIA Australian Classical Crossover 2022 album of the year ‘Songbird’ with a classical spin on iconic songs such as Jolene, Amazing Grace and The Long and Winding Road.
“I can’t wait to get back out to Quilpie for the Baldy Top lookout performance. It will be unlike anything I’ve done before and is the only performance I’m doing in the Outback. The big European concerts are phenomenal – but there’s going to be something entirely different and special when I sing under the stars at Baldy Top lookout,” said Mirusia.
There is a selection of ticket offerings from bronze to premium gold and silver seating options available, you can also order gourmet platters for two. This is a licenced event, so no BYO permitted. BYO food is permitted.
Adult – Gold ticket includes a comfy Adirondack Chair located in the premium seating area closest to the stage, complimentary drink on arrival (beer, wine, or soft drink), souvenir glass or stubby holder, nibbles box. A bar area will be located within the premium seating area for the ease of guests.
Adult – Silver ticket includes seating located in the premium seating area closest to the stage, complimentary drink on arrival (beer, wine, or soft drink), souvenir glass or stubby holder, nibbles box. A bar area will be located within the premium seating area for the ease of guests.
General Seating ticket - For those who want to bring their own chair in the general seating area.
Gourmet platter for two are available for sale separately for collection at the event. *Gold and Silver tickets include a platter.
Children aged 17 and under are free, however ticket will need to be purchased. They will require their own chair.
This is a licenced event, so strictly no BYO drinks are permitted. You are welcome to bring along additional nibbles.
Platter purchases will close at 5pm Friday 25th August 2023 for catering purposes.
The performance will conclude with a special fireworks display off the top of Baldy Top!
*Pets are not reccomended to brought along due to loud noises and fireworks at conclusion of performance*.
