Mental Health Week is an annual event that we celebrate to increase awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding people living with mental health conditions, their families and carers. The week provides an opportunity to promote understanding and knowledge about mental health, as well as the available services for all those in need. MIFANT’s annual Mental Health Week Dinner is aimed at highlighting the importance of positive mental health and overall well-being."Join us for a 3 course dinner on Monday, 9th Oct 2023 with live music, amazing speakers and other entertainment.
Keynote Speaker:
A strong resilient Noongar-Yamatji woman, Brooke Blurton, is regarded as one of WA's most prominent young Aboriginal people. Brooke had an extremely challenging childhood and youth, and has overcome the shocking legacy of intergenerational trauma, abuse and homelessness. She is now a facilitator of Aboriginal Mental Health First Aid and an aboriginal youth worker helping young vulnerable youth
