2023 UCCC National Lung Cancer Screening
YACI is excited to bring to you the University Cancer Case Competition (UCCC)! The UCCC is a first-of-its-kind, interdisciplinary case competition, which provides an opportunity for university students across Australia to work on a real-world problem facing public health professionals in the cancer space. The theme for 2023 is introducing a national lung cancer screening program for Australia!
UCCC is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate (excluding PhD) university students in Australia. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of integrating lung cancer screening into existing national and state health prevention and promotion strategies. The ultimate goal is to develop proposals that will have a significant impact on improving 5-year survival rates among individuals at high risk of lung cancer in Australia.
