This is a workshop to support people who experience prejudice motivated hate speech or violence in their daily lives. It explains how making complaints and reporting these incidents are the key to change, but it also guides participants in the best way to make complaints. It will be presented by Scott Davis, formerly of VicPol, City of Hobart and Equal Opportunity Tasmania and Prof Nicole Asquith, UTAS, Director, Tasmanian Institute of Law Enforcement Studies and Convenor of the Australian Hate Crime Network.This program will presented in person and online.
