Kristin Berardi & Sam Anning | Andrea Keller solo
Kristin Berardi and Sam Anning are both winners of the National Jazz Award and won a Bell Award for their debut album Our Songs, Not Songs (Earshift Music). In the duo format they are able to entwine their improvisational virtuosity with an expression more akin to folk music, attempting to blur the lines between stereotypical genres. Their songs express many colours of the human condition with a recurring theme that reminds us to be kind to nature and that we have so much to learn from the land and indigenous cultures.
Andrea Keller will be joining as special guest on the beautiful Stuart & Sons Grand Piano.
Highly lauded with multiple awards, Andrea has received three ARIA Awards, seven Australian Jazz ‘Bell’ Awards, two Art Music Awards (including the award for Excellence in Jazz), an APRA Professional Development Award, the Merlyn Myer Composing Women’s Commission, and a Music Victoria Award – Best Jazz Album.
