She is the author of Elizabeth Macarthur: A Life at the Edge of the World – an engaging yet meticulously researched biography of the woman who established the Australian wool industry, even though her husband got all the credit (Text Publishing 2018). Michelle is also the co-writer, with Torres Strait Islander actor and film producer Aaron Fa’Aoso, of Aaron’s memoir So Far, So Good (Pantera Publishing 2022).
Michelle is renowned as an entertaining and informative speaker. She will talk to us about who Elizabeth was, what she did and why she should be far more well-known as an important Australian historical figure.
