Unleash your creativity as you learn the essential techniques and principles of this traditional printmaking process. Guided by Olivia O’Connor, this class is perfect if you're a beginner with no prior experience or an artist looking to explore a new medium. Together, we will explore the materials, tools, and safety precautions necessary for woodblock carving.During the class you will design and carve your woodblock and print it. You will leave the workshop with your carved woodblock to take home and keep printing from, your progress prints and final print on art paper.
All tools and materials are supplied.
Bring along ideas of what you’d like to print and/or Olivia will walk you through the design process.
This workshop is suitable for 18 years +
