On The Fly Impro Open Jams are back for 2024 at The Joinery.As seen on TV's Whose Line is It Anyway?, Thank God You’re Here and Middleditch & Schwartz, improv is unscripted, unplanned, and totally made up theatre and comedy. Impro jams are all about fun and trying improv in a friendly environment – everyone is welcome. Bring ideas, games, or scenes you want to try out – or just bring yourself! We'll warm up with some games and then let the jamming commence in a friendly open-mic night style! Each jam is led by one of On the Fly's experienced tutors.
Prerequisites
None. All are welcome!Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing so as to facilitate movement. Our classes involve verbal communication and physical movement, and participants are encouraged to participate to whatever extent their comfort permits.
