An exciting collaboration between Sydney Wind Symphony, (one of Sydney's premier wind bands) and Wollongong City Wind Band (current National Champions).
The program includes the world premiere of "Home is Where My Heart Belongs", a composition written especially for Wollongong Wind Band by young Sydney composer Hamish Reeves; "Manhattan", a stunning work for wind band and solo trumpet, performed by one of our young musicians; "Foundry", a contemporary industrial piece by John Mackey, featuring the raw energy of 12 percussionists; plus much more.
