Very pleased that CARRUM DOWNS HOUSE CONCERTS has been chosen by these three amazing singer songwriters as the venue for their special 'Writers in the Round' event.  It is no exageration to say that these artists are three of the very best Australia has and their diverse style make for the perfect show where guests will see them together alternating previewing and playing their best past, present and perhaps some future songs. What these three artists have in common is that they are great storytellers, their songs come from stories from the heart and when that is combined with powerful world class voices you can expect to be thoroughly entertained.

KELLY BROUHAHA.  Kelly is now based in Northern NSWand it's no exageration to say Kel is one of the busiest artists in the country, touring solo and with artists like Lyn Bowtell and Becky Cole  and often provides her vocal and guitar skills to other artists in studio recordings. Kelly released her debut album 'Unplugged' in 2019 which went to number one on the Amrap Radio Charts. It is hard to find a comparison voice to Kelly, perhaps a touch of Amy Whitehouse and Australia's Rene Geyer. Kelly has a knack of presenting her songs with humour but she can also bring tears to your eyes. You will love Kelly.

KHRISTIAN MIZZI.  Melbourne based Khristian has just returned from Nashville where he has been recording his next album. His last album, released late in 2019 was a showcase for the talents he has as a writer and singer. It was launched at Melbourne's Caravan Music Club to a sell out audience. Khristian style is hard to pinpoint, it is steeped in Folk but it also vists the  Americana genre's of Country Music.His performances have been described as 'reaching the hearts of audiences with a mixture of joyful,uplifting,confronting,spiritual,comedic and vaulnerable feelings from his lyrics and beautiful voice. 

CATHY DOBSON.  We are very luck to have Cathy as a Melbourne resident. Cathy is just a brilliant songwriter and singer. She has the ability to write different styles of songs which was why her second album, 'Tales of a Suburban Housewife'  released in 2017 was so successful and why other artists have recorded her songs and play them at shows. Cathy has just recorded a new album, 'Living in Mediocreville' and it is exceptional and quite different from her past releases. It is no surprise that Cathy is a multi award winning songwriter and that's why songs from her albums do very well on the Country Music Charts.

This will be a great afternoon of music. These three artists have big followings so we urge you to book early, only 36 seats available. We will be providing a BBQ Lunch with other food with soft drinks coffee and tea, you are welcome bring other beverages.We ask you to arrive at 12.30pm, music will start at 1.30pm with a half hour break at 3pm for afternoon tea then the second half of the event will start at 3.30pm and finish at around 5 to 5.30pm. We have a large covered outdoor areas for before, during the break and after the event. We encourage you to mingle with the artists who will have cd's and other merchandise available. We have professional sound and lighting in the venue, which is a large unit and there is plenty of on street parking available. The address will be provided at time of booking.
