Mosaicas is a four-piece string ensemble dedicated to the performance of early and modern tango, interwoven with Argentinian folk, in a contemporary chamber music setting.
This collaboration with guest bandoneon player Stephen Cuttriss features a performance of Astor Piazzolla’s ‘Five Tango Sensations' (Asleep, Loving, Anxiety, Despair, Fear).
Mosaicas also present contemporary works and arrangements by Ramiro Gallo, Guillermo Klein, Cristian Basto and local Australian/Argentinian musician Jose Arganaras, as well as self- arranged duets for two violins by Piazzolla.
